GHS development memories after all this time

GHS® (Grand Helical Scan) is a mechanism originally developed to enable laser high-speed hole punching, which is not possible with galvanometers or polygon mirrors. So, we challenged again with an inexpensive picosecond laser (20 picoseconds) with a long pulse width! Black marking gives a more luxurious look to high-end cutlery and tableware made in Tsubame-Sanjo area.
