Example of high-speed laser drilling in the positive electrode for lithium-ion batteries by roll-to-roll
Fusion of converting technology and laser processing technology
Converting technology has been established as an accurate transfer technology even for positive electrodes for lithium-ion batteries.
Wired has achieved a hole drilling speed that surpasses that of polygon scanners by developing a high-speed scanner GHS (Grand Helical Scan) that performs laser hole drilling at high speed on the positive electrode transported by roll to roll, and is the first in the world to use converting technology. We have achieved a fusion of laser technology.
At Wired, before making a prototype with a roll-to-roll laser processing machine, we will make a prototype for the purpose of setting processing conditions and designing with a single-wafer prototype processing machine for A4 size and small pieces.

Laser Processing Services
Our laser processing technology enables high-speed, non-contact processing of fine holes with significantly smaller diameters and fewer burrs compared to other drilling methods such as punch presses and etching.
Laser Processing Machine Manufacturing
We manufacture and sell roll-to-roll laser drilling machines equipped with our original optical system GHS (Grand Helical Scan).
