Wide width laser high speed processing of resin film (roll to roll)

The requirements for GHS🄬, WIRED’s unique optical system for roll-to-roll conveyance, have been diverse, indicating that laser processing has become increasingly important in the world of converting. However, the GHS🄬, a laser scanner far beyond conventional wisdom, faces many challenges because it is new. As we solve those challenges one by one, we have opened another page in the history of our company.

The technology introduced here is a converting laser processing system that boldly challenged the hole punching technology for wide films, which was the limitation of the GHS🄬, and was completed.
As an example, in this experiment, GHS🄬 achieved a conveyor speed of 5m/min for a 1,000m wide film (processable width: 1,200mm). This is a significant increase in the processing capacity of GHS🄬, which was previously only capable of processing films up to 300 mm in width.
